I have known Dr Carrion for more than 40 years. I have operated with him, shared patients with him and benefited from his knowledge and skills. Academic urology is a different animal than community Urology. It is not as convenient , doesn't move as fast as we like and involves medical urologists in training. I consider this an asset. I lived the life of a academic urologist and a community one as well. I have had surgery in both environments. I can tell you that for a simple problem academia(the university) may not be the best place for you; if you are interested in convenience, and experience. But for a difficult problem, a complication or an unusual situation, there is no better place to go than to Dr Carrion and his university partners. i have seen them rescue desperate cases and done so with care ,compassion and charity. We are fortunate in Tampa to have this expertise. I will not hesitate to send him any of my patients or put my life in his hand if the situation arises.

As a retired physician, I myself only let the best of the very best physicians treat when it comes to my own healthcare. Dr. Parker, Dr. Lorenzo and staff are truly outstanding in every aspect. The group is exceptionally helpful, caring and extremely accommodating with regards to the care of their patients. On a 1-10 scale, I am honestly rating the entire experience as an 11+. His coordinator, Carolina, is one of the most kindest and caring persons that I have ever known and was outstanding at pulling some last minute strings for me during a very difficult period of time in order to help my care. Thanks again for everything. You guys are the best!!
